Wow

For some reason I thought this journal was linked to my livejournal but now I find that it is now. My livejournal is linked to facebook and yahoo 360 but not here...does anyone know how to do that so I don't have to bother with this one??

Soreness Reigns

Hello all! It has been a rather good week and weekend and month and year...hehe I could keep going...

We finished up tax season last week and then proceeded to the arcade to celebrate like real adults. We didn't run out of money in the entire 4.5 hours in the arcade the company gave us so much to play with. It was awesome and we might go back to finish it up some day since the cards are good for a year. By we I mean Zaineb, one of my coworders, and me.

I personally celebrated the end with a trip to see the Beutels and the Aikmans as I mentioned before and then a hurried run to my massage lady which was very nice. She's very good. If you need a good massouse or whatever they are in Columbus or Mt. Vernon let me know. However, on Sunday I was stupid. We had a double header co-ed softball game on the city league; I play with my church here. I didn't stretch anything but my arms before the game, learning as a pitcher that I would regret it later if I didn't. But then stupid me decided that since I don't stretch for dancing I don't need to stretch my legs for softball. Two days later I still can't lift my knees to my chest and have a hard time putting on pants or shoes. Not to mention my back muscles are not sore as well. All that work and I can't feel the greatness of it because I'm sore. At least it's a different kind of sore than when I don't have a massage. Those kinds stink.

Yesterday I went to check into getting an international drivers license but once I finally found the place I needed also discovered that I shouldn't do it until I get my US drivers license switched to Ohio state instead of Pennsylvania. I was going to do this on Saturday before heading to MV again. I told Homeland Security that I live in Ohio which is true and was hopeful that I would still be living here by the time they got to our petition, knowing that I could potentially not have the job. Then Monday, I got the job. So, that was solved and I can now officially get my license switched over and actually live in Ohio and not have to pay Pennsylvania taxes which are much higher. However, sales taxes are lower so I will still go home to see my mom and do my shopping there muahahhaa!!

Speaking of shopping, I found this nifty grocery store yesterday too. It is all natural, organic food which has been my recent addiction. The prices don't seem to be ridiculous considering even discount places are going up in price recently. So, they seem about the same only healthier. I got some chocolate milk which tasted really good and I drank a glass probably faster than I have drank anything before. I got meats and salsas as well but will probably need to go back soon for bread and a few more various products. Another note of interest though, the majority of the products were eiter in paper or glass so I can also recycle all of it, which is nice.

Since I got that job I may start couch shopping soon. Haven't decided if I really need one before going to Europe but it would be a nice amenity hehehe. Speaking of Europe, I hear there are problems on the German front and they aren't really wanting people to go over. Stinking terrorist ruining my plans. That worries my parents much more than me though. I may just avoid public transportation and government buildings and take the risks since the threat levels here go up and down every other day and my life isn't affected as far as I know. Ignorance is bliss. If they start blowing stuff up before then though I will change my mind.

We have had some really beautiful days lately and it feels like it is going to rain right now which is really cold to be in shorts and a t-shirt sitting in. I have some things I want to do on here yet though so I may just get to it. This week mainly entails: errands, work, visiting friends, and softball. Yippee! I am definately out of practice for softball. Yikes!

I really like the neighborhood around here. It's so much fun. Hopefully Dustin will get used to it when he moves here as well. It's in the city but looks like a small town with scattered farms.

Done!

This is officially my first week off overtime and not even 40 hours since nobody wanted to show up the day after tax season. It couldn't have been a nicer weekend to have that fall on. It is 70F23C outside and so sunny with the trees starting to get some really pretty blooms.

I do not know if I have a job yet so I still don't know where I will be leaving in the next little over a week. Either way I will be happy. I love my job here and I love the mountains at home and have been getting phone calls this week with people who want to try to help me find a job when I do finish this one.

I got a massage today. It was wonderful.

Saw the Beutels last night and crashed on their couch. Also wonderful and little Jasmine is adorable. They are such good parents :)

Right now I'm going to look for some vacation information. I hear there is turmoil between Germany and the US so I may not be able to go on vacation there with Dustin after all so I better get to looking at what's going on or buying tickets, whichever. hehe

Adios chicos!

Official

It's official! The immigration papers are in the mail as I type. The long, daunting process has begun.

Long update to come in another week or so...only a few weeks of overtime left.

So Many Thoughts

I have so many thoughts that I'd like to write down on any give day and no time to do it in.

I wanted to mention the Iran thing that's going on with England.

Learned about Reverse Mortgages at work yesterday.

Starting to feel like I really can be good at this job with just some more experience, but not as much as I thought it would take.

Was watching Casanova last night and only got through about half of it before bed time but would have thoughts on that.

Want to call friends but don't get home until practically bed time and by the time I make calls I need to make there is no time left to call others. Everyone will have to wait until the weekend since if my attention span survives I will only have to work 5 hours on Saturday. Hopefully...

Generally being content with the path my life has taken in the past year and a half...
